Big mountain adventure...
-4400m descent on 95% single track
+900m pedal climbing over two days
After a nights rest, breakfast and bike shake down you will be descending single track 1500m into the valley Spa town of Vernet Les Bain and its cafe's, from here we catch the famous 'Yellow Train' up to 1600m and grab some lunch. We then steady pedal climb to 2000m altitude leading to a 1400m single track descent into the opposing valley and a well earned beer. We are then Uplifted for a second night in lower Alpine Hostel at 1570m.
Following our second nights rest and breakfast we climb up 500m to shoulder of the mountain descending 1500m and crossing down to the next valley. This is the stop over for the final night in a beautiful 16th Century town for celebratory beers and a comfortable nights rest in a pleasant hotel.
This is an intense wild single track riding expedition in some of the most beautiful mountains on the planet.
Riders need to be comfortable with rocky terrain including long technical descents that require a fair level of skill and ability. A reasonable level of fitness is required to gain the most from this adventure, so its sure to be an unforgettable experience.
